Jerome Yelsky
Jerome Yelsky, a partner in the firm, was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1947. He received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles in 1976.

Jerome Yelsky concentrates his practice in the areas of Creditor’s Rights and Bankruptcy Practice, including Commercial and Business Litigation and Practice.

Jerome Yelsky has handled all aspects of Bankruptcy and Non-Bankruptcy cases from a creditor, defendant, debtor, and Trustee perspective and has litigated preference, fraudulent conveyance, dischargeability, stay relief actions, contested plan confirmation proceedings, objections to claims in proceedings involving assumption and rejection of executory leases. In addition, Jerome Yelsky has extensive experience in residential mortgage matters, including non-judicial foreclosure proceedings and loss mitigation representation throughout the state of California. Jerome Yelsky also regularly represents clients in a broad range of matters before California State Courts, Federal Courts, administrative and regulatory agencies, and arbitration panels.

Mr. Yelsky has been a panelist for the Orange County Bar Association on bankruptcy issues for non-dischargeability actions.

Jerome Yelsky is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of California, and United States District Court, California. Jerome Yelsky is a member of the State Bar of California, Los Angeles County Bankruptcy Forum, Los Angeles County Bar Association, the California Trial Lawyers Association, the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, and the California Trustee’s Association.
